9 и 10 июня 2005г. в Вильнюсе прошла инаугурационная конференция E.H.U. International.

В конференции приняли участие Президент Литвы В.Адамкус, руководящие работники министерств иностранных дел ряда европейских стран, послы США и стран Евросоюза в Литве и Беларуси, представители Еврокомиссии и Европарламента, руководители международных донорских организаций, европейских и литовских университетов, НГО, преподаватели и студенты ЕГУ. Итогом конференции стало решение возобновить деятельность ЕГУ в Литве при международной поддержке уже с осени 2005г.
