Master’s Degree Program in International and European Law

The Master of Law program is aimed at preparing specialists in the field of International and European Law, able to practice law, run research and then bring its results to the classroom surrounding, thus promoting democratic reforms and development of the legal culture in Belarus. Graduates of this program are expected to be able to lead the implementation of the international obligations of Belarus into the national legislation and to develop the national legislation in the field of human rights in accordance with European values and standards.

To achieve these goals, the program through the system of the elective courses provides for the possibility of the profound specialization either in the field of International or European Law. To promote the international socialization of the Master students and their exposure to the European legal culture the curriculum of the program includes internships in the European institutions and EU-related bodies in Lithuania.
