Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Belarusian Studies

With the processes of national consolidation of the Belarusians, as well as of shaping of the Belarusian political commonness remaining incomplete and uncertain, it becomes crucial that various dimensions of identity be articulated both at mass and individual levels. The program is aimed at training specialists, who would be able to study, construe and represent the multicultural heritage of Belarus, viewed as a whole. Through this program, the new generation of specialists obtains skills and knowledge to make a contribution to forming the Belarusians’ cultural and political identity as of a democratic community and to creating an alternative to the ideology of the Belarusian statehood, a totalitarian political project.

In the framework of this program, the students are offered to choose one of the three areas of concentration:
